Summer Term

This term we are looking at figures from the past through our topic 'I wonder... how people lived in the past'. We are learning about important figures and how them impacted how we live today. We will be learning to make comparrisions between the past and present.

Spring Term

This term we are looking at countries and animals through our topic 'I wonder... what is around the world'. We are learning new facts about different countries around the world.

Boat making

In the spring term we invited parents into school to help us make boats. Before they came we explored waterproof and not waterproof materials. We also looked at materials that float and sink.

Here are some photos of us making our boats.

Autumn Term

This term we are looking at our families and understanding our emotions through our topic 'I wonder... what is special about me'. We are learning the rules and routines of the classroom and building friendships and relationships with the adults and our peers.

We will then be moving on to our topic 'I wonder... where in the world I live'. We will look at our local area and drawing maps of familiar places.

Christmas crafts with parents

We had great fun with our adults making different crafts for our Christmas fayre. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying their time together creating and having fun.

Gullivers

We went to Gullivers on our first school trip this term. We experienced going on a coach, meeting Santa, riding the magical elevator, and role playing in the village. The children had so much fun!
